A common refrain is that in Chinese, the word for crisis 危机 also bears the meaning of opportunity.
We have been swept into a vortex of crises – crises that impel us toward a new understanding of how to lead, interact, and be. Stepping into this new understanding of how we show up in our place of work, our home, and our community can be overwhelming. We are reimagining and recreating our presence in the world. The journey requires the ability to let go of old messages and expectations for ourselves and others. It asks us to be fully present as we build new relationships using new strategies.
The old boundaries between who we are at home and who we are at work are now blended. We are being asked to build relationships in ways that remove the barriers to human-centered interactions and require vulnerability, transparency, and a willingness to trust as we venture into this unchartered new world.
Using techniques that allow us to reach into ourselves and access our heart and body knowledge can show us the way forward. This is what Deep Coaching is all about.
